Twilight New Moon Jewelry Set

This is another Twilight jewelry set offered by NECA,  the past masters in all things Twilight memorabilia. The original jewelry set was a popular item and sold out fast. The same principle applies to the Twilight New Moon Jewelry Set.

Three thousand items are available and the price has varied as more are sold. Initially it was sold at half price. Now it is at the recommended retail price with a little discount, but once all 3000 are sold it is likely to rise even more.

This set features a personally autographed “postcard” from the actress Ashley Greene (who plays Alice Cullen in the movies). This gives it the unique quality that will make it a sure fire collectors item.

Other than that, it is also referred to as a Cullen crest jewelry set because the six items of jewelry that comprise the set have the Cullen crest prominently featured.

So the jewelry includes :

Edward's wristcuff, with crest in the center. 

Rosalie's elegant pendant necklace which is a large hanging Cullen crest on heavy chain. Can be worn or collected.

Esme's bracelet also comes with the set. Again, the crest is prominent on this item. One size fits all as there is some give in the bracelet bands.

There are two crest rings. One is worn by Carlisle Cullen himself and the other is the ring given to Bella when she becomes part of the family. The Bella ring is the only item to feature the crest in color.

The final item is the Alice Cullen choker, which is made of a soft grey material with Cullen crest in the center. This can be worn and is very distinctive.

The jewelry box itself is reported to be a bit disappointing. It is quite flimsy and deteriorates easily. I guess they expected it to be kept tucked away for safe keeping or such like.

Other than that, the individual items are well made. They can be worn but if you are planning to collect the set then you probably want to avoid doing this. They are replicas of the original jewelry worn by the various characters in the New Moon movie. Many people have commented on how similar they look to the items in the movie so you will be pleased on that note.

You can actually buy each item of jewelry individually but it works out cheaper to buy the set at this stage (although the price may go up in the future).
